Ok so i installed an ssd where my stock hdd goes and i put my stock hdd in an optibay.

I then used carbon copy cloner to clone my stock hdd to my new ssd but left my home folder on my ssd to use that for storage.

Basically what im asking is how do i undo this? i want my home folder and everything else all on my ssd.

The plan is to then pick exactly what folders i want (downloads, music and movies) and move those alone to my old hdd and then link them to my home folder with symbolic links.

So can someone help me out? I need to know wether i can just drag and drop my home folder from the hdd to the ssd without missing any important hidden files and such. Or do i need to use an app like carbon copy cloner?
