What's the easiest way to reset my MB to all of it's original settings?

My MB got all messed up, and I want to get it competely reset, like when you just bought it.

This is if you want to be fairly thorough. You probably don't *need* to be fairly thorough, but I'm putting it out there....

1) Reboot the computer and hold cmd (apple) - option - p - r during bootup until you hear the chime a second time.

2) Insert the system restore DVD volume 1. Go to system prefs -> startup disk -> select the DVD and hit the restart button in the window.

3) Follow the prompts until you get an "option" button in the lower left (I think) corner of the window. Click it, and then choose the option that says something like erase and install.

4) Follow the prompts.
