I want to restore my Jailbroken Phone, will it get rid of my Unlock?

Hi I have an Iphone 3gs unlocked for T-Mobile and its running iOs 5.1. It recently got stuck on the apple logo after I deleted an app in cydia. Is the only way to fix this to restore the phone? Also, if I do restore will I lose my unlock?

You must have the tethered jailbreak. Run Redsn0w in tethered mode to turn your iPhone back on. No need to restore.

thanks, ill try that. I had bought the iphone already unlocked and jailbroken off ebay so im not entirely sure on wheather its tethered or not

Your on 5.1 therefore its tethered
