I want to run airplay using Monterey installed on 2014 mac mini. I want to be able to play music from my iphone 7 to the two excellent speakers connected to my 2014 mac-mini. My mac-mini has 8gb ram and 500 gb ssd. Kindly provide instructions.

Apple declares that AirPlay (receiver) on Monterey is available only on Mac mini 2020 or later.
Actually, it works on Mac mini 2018 too. The key, I guess, is the M2 processor.
The 2014 model isn’t supporte. You can try alternatives like AirServer or Shairport Sync.
