I want to sell my 2007 iMac but I have it registered on Apple site

In october 2007 I bought an 20" iMac and registered it on the Apple site. However, just recently I have bought the new 27" iMac i5 and I have no use for my old iMac so I want to sell it. My only problem is that if I sell it the new owner will not be able to register it as it is already registered in my name with Apple.

Is there any way I can unregister it so the new owner can register it in his/her name?

The new buyer can call Apple and have it switched to their name.

You should call Apple and get it switched to the new owner's name so there won't be any hassle if it ever needs repair

at this point there really isn't any need to transfer the registration......unless you're wanting to transfer Applecare
