This needs a little background info:
Many moons ago I bought Logic Express 7, academic version for my G5 iMac. Eventually, the hard drive of that one crashed fatally, resulting in a total loss of data.
I bought a Mac Pro (early 08) to replace it. I installed my copy of Logic Express 7 on it, with the intention of upgrading to Version 8. I found out the hard way that the academic version cannot be upgraded.
So what I want to do is sell both version 7 and the version 8 upgrade on Ebay (separately, of course).
Now, Logic 7 Express has been installed (and activated) on two machines already - the iMac, and the new Mac Pro. How can I make sure the potential buyer will be able to use the activation code? I uninstalling the software from my computer enough? Do I need to somehow de-activate it? How does this work, and can it be done for the installation on the old hard drive that crashed?
