So I know this is weird but I have a 2010 13.3 2.4 ghz macbook pro, and its awesome. It was given to me and is in perfect condition. However the aluminum feels like fingernails on a chalkboard to me and I really want to get either a 2009 or 2010 white plastic polycarbonate whatever it is macbook. I know it is a step down but this is solely a preference thing. Does anyone know how I could go about trading? Where I could trade? etc. etc.
thanks

I'd trade with you...except my keyboard is kind of dirty...

I'd love to trade you, mine's a 2007 white MB that runs beautifully. A little older than you're looking for, but it isn't aluminum.

Here are some suggestions:
1) Look around on craigslist and see if anyone would like to trade.
2) Sell it on ebay or craigslist and use the money to buy an older MacBook.
3) Contact some resellers (www.powermax.com and www.macofalltrades.com come to my mind, but i've never actually done business with them) and explain the situation.
4) Hang out at an Apple store and talk to someone looking at the MBP and offer them a heck of a deal.

I'm sorry to hear that you dislike the aluminum, but everyone has their own preference. It's a very nice machine.

Good luck!!!!

I'll trade with you! It's a white, plastic, and 2009 Macbook. Updated to 10.7. PM me if you're interested.
