I've been trying to update to iOS 7 for about a day and I can't seem to get it to work. No matter what I do, I always get the Error 3194 message even in DFU mode and normal mode. I also can't seem to update from my iPod nor can I reset the iPod and then update. I also checked my hosts file on my Mac and did what the website says. I see two gs.apple.com in terminal, though, one for cydia (I think) and one for apple. Does anyone have any idea of what I can possibly do?

It's also an iPod Touch 4th gen on iOS 6.0.1 and it's stuck in recovery mode.

Ios7 is not supported on the ipod touch 4th gen.

Only on the ipod touch 5th gen, in the ipod series. Sorry. :)

If you want ios7 on the ipod touch you will have to upgrade to ipod 5th gen. :)
