I have a 21.5" iMac that I bought about two months ago from the Apple store near my house. Since purchasing it, I've noticed that I rarely use it, and want to get another laptop. I've been offered a trade, and I just wanted to ask you guys if it's a decent trade. I know it's a slight downgrade, but I also don't want to get killed on the trade, you know?
Mine is 3.06 ghz, with 4gb ram, and with Snow Leopard.
His is an aluminum Macbook 13.3" (not pro) with 2.4 ghz
Some additional points. His has applecare until 09/2012. Mine does not have applecare. His has Leopard, but he is going to include Snow Leopard for me, if I make the trade. Additionally, his is in mint condition (his words, I've not seen it) and he says it has never left his office.
I'm in college, and a macbook is infinitely more useful to me than an iMac.
What do you guys think?
