On one of my Macs of course
Aloha everyone,

I was watching coverage of the women's 400 and heard Sanya Richard (USA) mention that she uses iChat to talk with her fiancee, New York Giants cornerback Aaron Ross, every day. That is the first time I've heard an athlete specifically mention using a Mac-specific app. In fact, she touted the video conferencing aspect (she can see him as she talks to him). While not an outright Mac endorsement, it was nice to hear that someone other than a "Mac head" appreciates our preferred computing platform and its associated software apps.

I saw that too. Great advertising for Apple seen by millions of people
during primetime.

It is amazing how few non Mac oriented people still don't know about
ichat. Apple should do more advertising on this app with one of their
funny TV spots.

I'm afraid most people won't know what she was talking about ... especially if she didn't mention "Apple" or "Mac".

Not too sure why it really matters, but if she is mentioning iChat at all during the Olympics she should be compensated for the mention.
