Another week of no penryn iMacs, and I was getting nervous. I do not want a Penryn, but I was waiting for the price drop. I read another thread that they no longer had that special limited offer in some of the stores on the 24 inch so I decided a $1499 iMac was better than a more expensive iMac! I really hope they do not go down too much!

Well done! You've got a good price and I hope your decision works out well out for you. Whatever comes out this week, or next, or whenever, you will still have a great machine at a great price.
Personally, I'm waiting for the next update however long it takes, but I can see that your strategy also has it's advantages.
