I have a very close friend that works at the local AT&T store and he said he will sell me the iPhone 3G before Friday morning. As long as he doesn't back out I should have it today or tomorrow. I'm hoping for a 16GB Black iPhone 3G. I'll post pictures here if I get it.

Seriously, it's a phone. It's not going to cure cancer, stop world hunger or make you bigger.

Getting it early means nothing except you can think you're special for 24 hours and your friend can get fired. Life's more important than that. Try pouring that passion into something that actually makes a difference, like curing cancer, stopping world hunger, or... well, not that last thing.
