yup i have this little gadgt, got it yesterday im actually thnking about selling it.
But what i will do is open it up, i have a spare 60gb apple harddrive that i will use to try and install mac os tiger an see how that goes.
Snce apple tv hrdwre is basically using components compatible with os x tiger
There is a good possibility that it migh just work. Some Kext hacks etc might be able to d the job. HEYI WE CAN INSTALL OSX ON X86 HARDWARE im pretty confident this will work.
I will also try and install linux on it and see how that goes.
