I don't know about of you guys but I find my self constantly hitting that period key and all my google searches end up looking.like.this.

Who even types urls anymore anyway? And on the rare occasion when you do need to type, why not just access the period key like you would using any other app, by pressing the specials keys button "123"?

Just my 2 cents xD

Minor nitpick I know!

Does my head in! Especially so on the 6+ due to the wider screen, it's a real stretch to hit the tiny space bar and I *never* need the period key when doing web searches anyway!

Agree. So annoying.

I disable Dictation, so the button disappears and the space bar becomes wider.

You.and.me.both

Well they allow 3rd party keyboards now...

A decent workaround except for the fact that 3rd party keyboards disable dictation and even worse....they constantly get overtaken by the stock keyboard anyway (even outside of password fields). It's just not worth the hassle yet.

This happens to me all the time, and i was beginning to wonder if it was just me.

Yup, happens to me too. It ends up googling whatever I typed in with that period.

Actually, I'd like them to bring back the .com key and remove the stupid emoji key on the left. That key always messes me up.

I was able to remove the emoji key in settings. I'm surprised there's no option for the "." key.

This, simple but effective.

It's been driving me nuts since ios7!

Someone should make a standardized complaint we can copy and past to Apple through that bug submission form they have.

It really makes me think that no one at Apple actually TRIES these things out.

Believe it or not, one of my largest complaints with iOS. I like the idea of putting .COM back there. But honestly, just remove it and give me a bigger space bar.

This was one of my major pet peeve on android phones and now iOS has it now too. GRRRRR:mad::mad:

Imagine back in iOS 6 when the "." key was a ".com" key... lol

EDIT:

Oh well there was 2 different search locations. One for google/yahoo/bing and the other for inputing websites.
