The has never been a public beta for Watch OS4.1 developer beta is out today, and has new features. I worry battery life may take a hit with it. My AW 3 battery has been amazing, so far. 91% and off charger for 8 hours.
Yup. I meant regular 4.1 release. I had dev 4.0 on my AW series 0, but still up in air about beta on new AW 3.The has never been a public beta for Watch OS
If you mean final public release, it's highly likely it'll be out by the time iPhone X hits the shelf, so November 3rd at the latest. Probably a few days before. iPhone X looks like it'll be running iOS 11.1 so it makes sense that watchOS will ship alongside it.4.1 developer beta is out today, and has new features. That does make sense. Thanks. I think I’ll sit out the beta for now.If you mean final public release, it's highly likely it'll be out by the time iPhone X hits the shelf, so November 3rd at the latest. I do enjoy beta running, but with the watch I feel its a bad idea for us regular folk, as you can't just restore fresh once public build lands. I had issues with upgrading from beta iOS 11 to gm, so I restored fresh without a backup and its much better. You can't do that with the watch without sending it to apple for a week or 2.That does make sense. Thanks. I think I’ll sit out the beta for now.
