I know these have to be picked up in the Apple Store to be fitted etc but Im hoping you can reserve it online for pickup rather then wait outside of an Apple Store where you may or may not get one for those interested. They may try to make the experience like the original iPhone but hopefully not esp due to the price. I guess we will wait and see.

Store will probably be the best experience, but I don’t see why they wouldn’t have online orders deliver by release day. Let the Apple Store app scan your face for fit and allow you to input an eye prescription if you need the Zeiss lenses.

I would never trust an Apple Store employee to do the fitting. They have massive egos and don’t like to try suggestions from the customer.

I agree that fitting and prescription choices could be set up beforehand at an Apple store before preorders start. I hope that is the case. Or maybe we will be able to scan our faces at home to determine fit?
