i wont have anyone to call on facetime

all my friends that are getting the iphone 4 wont be getting it for a few weeks. So I have no one to call, to test facetime..

can I call you?
 
Just you wait, the front facing camera will be usable by other apps. It'll be a race to the App Store, and we'll likely have a ChatRoulette-style app in no time. ;)
 
I don't understand why apple wouldn't make this ichat instead of facetime. Hopefully skype makes an app so I can talk to anyone on any carrier or even on their computer. Android has an app for that so why not apple.
 
FaceTime is going to revolutionize the way strangers show each other their penises.
 
I thought for sure that Skype would be supported with the front facing camera. Imagine my disappointment when I learned it wasn't.
 
Most of my friends are in the same boat, I was the only one to get mine ordered on time, but I also ordered one for my GF, so I will have one person to chat with, and who better? ;) Lol

As far as Skype goes, how do you know that they won't support it in the future? I am sure thats on the to-do list for them.

hahah I can't wait. I dunno about the apps though, all it takes is little Timmy seeing a penis and his mother complaining to Apple. That'll be the end of that app. Unless they have an automatic penis detection algorithm to blur out the area.
 
Like someone said, the developers will be running with the front camera. Im excited and leery all at once.

If you are like most people you will only use it once and then never again anyway, so don't worry about it.

Skype has already said that they don't plan on making an app right now. They offered apple to work together and integrate skype into FaceTime.
 
Sure. Why not?

I'll only be able to call my Mom and a couple of my friends at work who are getting new iPhones, too.
 
you can talk to me on the conditions that you're a hot chick sans clothing. I dont care if that sounds bad or not. :p
