I'm on a Mac but it would be in iTunes. Mine is located in iTunes/preference/devices. Should be the same for you cause it's in iTunes?

Would you know where I can go to find my 4S backups on my MBA? I can't seem to locate it in the link you posted. I only want to delete certain files/photos I no longer need, but I can't even locate the backup folder. I tried using spotlight to no avail. Thanks.
