Hi guys i have a !5" mbp i5 bought july 2010. I installed a 160gb intel SSD and have had zero problems. However since yesterday my boot time has significantly increased from around 12sec up to around 25-30secs. Can anyone help with this? my ssd is largely empty with very few apps actually on it apart from utorrent/limewire.

thanks

Could be that the you lost the setting for what startup disk to use. Make sure a disk is selected in System Preferences -> Startup disk.

You can also try booting in verbose mode (hold Cmd+V while booting) to get a text printout of each step taken during boot. There you could see if it stops at a specific action.
