I purchased a macbook pro from a guy in london on ebay, brand new, all in the packaging, sealed etc.
After a week i got the flashing question mark in the folder on startup. I would restart then it would be ok. When i left it for a period of time it would do it again.
I took it to apple and asked for a new harddrive under warranty. I received it back after 2 weeks of them messing about with the new harddrive fitted, i also was able to have my old hardrive back.
The next day after getting it back, i switched it on again only to have the same thing.
What can i do?
Im completely new to the mac world, i have never had an issue with any laptop before and am seriously starting to regret spending so much on a piece of equipment thats not worked too well for me so far.
