In that case, I would look long and hard at the 13" MBA with 128GB SSD: $1399 including the $100 upgrade to 4GB of RAM (which can only be done when you buy the MBA).

In fact, if the MBA had one of the new Sandy Bridge processors and Thunderbolt port, I would've opted for that instead of the 13" MBP I just bought. Apple never makes these decisions easy, do they? :D

Thanks you.I've been waiting for too long And I've decided togo with the 128ssd mbp.

Thank you all.But I would keep this mbp for 4 years or more. Is there anybody think that I should get a standard i7 13'' and add the ssd myself one or two years later? My budget is quite limited.

Honestly, I would go with the 17 and grab an ssd when you can afford it. This gives you the option of going with the optibay, and a significantly faster system for future proofing.

If that's the case, I can recommend getting the i7 then. The i5 is very good, but the i7 is even faster. Since you'll be having it for a long time, you can always get SSD later when prices get even cheaper if you don't want the benefits of it now. Plus you can't upgrade CPU later, but you can ram/HDD.
