I'm just curious if I can find an answer on this.

the i7 has eight threads running am I correct? On windows this shows up as eight processors. Yet in the most recent version of snow leopard on the 2011 thunderbolt macbook pro it shows up as one processor.

Is this normal? (my mac has been a bit finicky so it could just be me) I guess it is just one cpu, but I was always curious of this.
