I am thinking of downloading iAlertU my Mac. However, I do not have an Apple Remote. Is it possible to ARM AND DISARM the system without an Apple Remote. If it is, how can I do it? Thanks!

To do this when you open ialertu press the ialertu icon in the top bar and press preferences, then go to 'general.' Press the enable arm from menu and enter a password (make sure you do enter a password and don't forget it. Then close your preferences and go to the ialertu menu and press arm system. When you want to disarm ialertu just enter your password and it will disarm.
