Just to let everyone know that there appears to be a problem with iBackUp 5.2.3
I used to use this application to back up my photo library to an external HD but I haven't done this for a few months. Anyway today I tried to backup as usual but was told a new version (5.2.3) was out, great! Downloaded and started to backup no problem. After it had finished backing up my iPhoto library it proceeded to delete every other file on the HD. Over 300Gb of TV shows I had ripped from my personal DVD collection over the last 2 years. Everything gone in a few seconds and no way of getting it back!
I had a look in the settings for iBackUp and as default "delete any other files on the backup location" was ticked!
If anyone else uses iBackUp please be careful of this if you download the update.
