iBeacons/apps on Lockscreen?

So yesterday I got my iPhone 6 in the mail. Restored from a backup and was on my way. There is a Starbucks across the street from my place and the little starbucks app logo popped up on the lower left corner of the screen. For a completely different reason I had to restore my iPhone and I set it up as a new phone(not from a backup). Now & I don't know why none of the apps show up on the lock screen. I live in NYC, have walked past 3 Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts & an Equinox Gym but the icons no longer pop up. Anyone having this issue?

After setting it up as a new phone you've installed the apps again right? They only popup if the apps are installed. Also make sure your location services are on and selected for each of those apps in their respective settings panel.

Yes all apps are reinstalled. Locations services are fully enabled & turned on in each respective app. Plus I trad that with iOS 8 the app didn't even have to be installed. Regardless they are installed and signed in to.
