I'm not much of a programmer; wait, let me rephrase that, i'm not even remotely close to what someone could call a programmer. My hope is that this will be an easy problem more most of the techheads that frequent these threads.
So the gist is that I take my raw data that I have formatted into a .txt file and use the unix command line to run a perl script (downloaded from ibest website) called AutomaticProgR.pl http://styx.ibest.uidaho.edu/tools/trflp_stats/instructions.php
The website basically takes you through the first part... then I downloaded/installed the R-Console program from http://www.r-project.org/ and copied and pasted according to the ibest website instructions and then I get stuck... I have gotten the code to execute in the R console without errors, which consisted of trial and error placement of code, but the problem is that the output file is not created.
Does anyone have any experience with the R-console or similar programs that could help me troubleshoot this?
