spinnerlys Guest Sep 7, 2008 14,328 7 forlod bygningen May 12, 2009 #3 If it is an iBook G3 (800 MHz), then you need this RAM: http://www.ifixit.com/Products/G3-12-Inch-iBook/RAM/11/50 It's PC-100 3.3V 144-pin SO-DIMM RAM, and that G3 iBook can hold 640MB RAM at maximum. If it's an iBook G4 (800 MHz), then you need this: http://www.ifixit.com/Products/G4-12-Inch-iBook-800-MHz-RAM/11/45 It's PC-2100 DDR266 200-pin SO-DIMM (PC-2700 supported; however it will run at only 266 MHz), and the G4 iBook can hold 1.12 GB RAM (1GB + 128MB) at maximum. The price is so high, because it's old RAM and not mass produced anymore.

spinnerlys Guest Sep 7, 2008 14,328 7 forlod bygningen May 12, 2009 #5 Only one slot can be used for an exchangeable stick of RAM out of the two existing slots. You already have 128 MB installed in one slot, which can not be replaced, because the 128 MB are soldered onto the logic board.
