i have an airport extreme card from a 14" ibook g4 that i took the screen off of because of a broken lcd. (thanks mxlews), and also have a mac mini, and would really like to have it on the mini. is it the same card? how would i install it? (i heard the mini is really difficult to install things into)

It's definitely the same card, but as for the actual installation process... I'd check the support section of Apple.com, I'm sure there would be an installation guide there. I don't have one myself, but generally Apple keeps the airport slot easy to get to.

I actually believe Apple does not support direct placing of the Airport card in a mini by the end user. Last I've heard you have to have an Apple center do it for you.

May be wrong, though, so don't take my word.

Here.

Bottom of the page, light grey texting: "Memory, AirPort Extreme and internal Bluetooth upgrades must be performed by an Apple Authorized Service provider; fees may apply."
