iBook and Canon Scanner...

I need to pick up a cheap scanner for doing misc work, and wanted to know if the USB ports (2.0) in the iBook are powerful enough to run the scanner as that is also the power supply...probably a stupid question, but gotta ask.

Don't want to put a PCI card in my G4 tower because it wouldn't sleep with a 2.0 card.

I am using an Nxxx series by Canon and its USB 1.1 bus powered it works fine USB 2.0 should be more than ample.
