Sorry for the new thread. I've searched the forums and Google using multiple strings, but just can't seem to hit the right combination.
I've seen here someone posting about a small battery test application that users can run to put constant (moderate) stress on laptop batteries to give a sense of what kind of runtime they have. Things that will test the processor, GPU, etc. to simulate use. It gives the user an idea of battery capacity in terms of estimated battery line in hours and minutes.
Anybody out there know what I'm talking about?
I have an old G3 iBook that I'm considering upgrading, and am trying to decide if it's worth it. It needs an Airport card so I'll have to shell out right there. It's also difficult to test because I know an Airport card will draw power when connected wirelessly, but it doesn't have one to begin with.
