hi,
I have a late ibook g3 900mhz with 640mb ram and a sony combo drive.
since upgrading to 10.3.5 and 10.3.6 I am unable to read cds burnt on a pc.
although I love macs I have to be able to read these cds for my work.
the cds read fine on a g5 running on 10.3.4 but when I put them in my ibook they either come up as a blank cd and start toast titanium, showing the disc as blank or they come up with the "this disc contains no volumes OS X can read" error, and ejects.
the ibook is running ok and I have checked the cd drive in system profiler.
what can i do, short of wipe the hard disk and put 10.3.4 in...something I would rather not do!
cheers
mike
