iBook clamshell 1024x768 hack in 2020

What is the current state of affairs with G3 clamshell screen upgrades? I’ve seen old posts that reference hard to find adapters that are almost certainly long gone a decade ago or more. Has anyone done this recently?
i came into a 466 graphite model and ordered a stack of dead 12” g4 ibooks. I haven’t yet disassembled the clam to see which screen i have. Assuming I won’t win the lottery and have the right (Lg?) screen, what options are there?

I used an adapter on mine and it was a straight passthrough. No crossing of the ribbon traces. If the ribbon cable interfaces at the panel end fit, you could try desoldering the cable from your current Clamshell screen and moving it to the donor screen. Good luck.
