:apple: hello,

i have an old ibook clamshell ( 366 mhz). i have 3 questions.

1. what is the best web browser for mac os 9.2?

2. how can i reformat mac os 9? i have the install disks but when i try to boot off them by holing in C, nothing happens... Any help?? :apple:

3. also my battery wont charge. it says it is charging but it doesnt

1. There's actually a 'new' browser in development at the moment, called Classilla. It's a Mozilla-based browser, and it's one of the few that doesn't suck for OS 9. http://www.floodgap.com:80/software/classilla/

2. If your iBook refuses to boot from the CD, make sure of a few things. First, that it is a proper install CD, next that your optical drive is working. If neither of those work, then you may just have a bum disk or drive.

3. The clamshells were discontinued in 2001; it's really not surprising that the battery doesn't do anything 8+ years later mate ;)
