I'm having a strange occurance with my 12" iBook G4 display. I have selected <Color LCD> for the display preference, however, when the screen saver activates the profile changes to <RGB Generic> with <Color LCD> still highlighted? I have contacted Apple and taken the unit in to a technician, and when they connected an external drive running OS X 10.3.4 the same proplem occured. They could only recommend replacing the logic board, but I am not convinced it is a hardware issue. I have updated the software now to 10.3.5 but the problem still exists. I have also tried connecting an external display to see if the problem shows up on the other display but that actually resolves the issue? When I disconnect the display the problem comes back. Any ideas?
