One of the kids that I babysit recently spilled half a bowl of soy milk/cereal on his iBook G4's keyboard. When he tried to boot the computer up, it didn't respond. I removed the battery and the AC adapter hoping that the damage hadn't already been done. We let the computer "cool off" overnight, but the next morning, it still didn't boot.

I opened it up, and found that the RAM was covered in a sticky substance, which I assume to be milk/sugary cereal residue. When I plug the computer in to charge, even without the battery, the AC adapter's light doesn't turn on. Instead, the light flashes green very quickly, and then goes dark. I tried to get it to flash again, but it doesn't do it every time. The flashes were so "well timed" that it looked to be a sign of some sort. I tried to reset the PMU, but the computer didn't respond.

I'm taking it to the Genius bar today, so they'll have a look at it. I'm expecting that the PMU and/or the Motherboard are toasted, which will be expensive to replace, especially considering they're getting new MBPs in a few months.
Thanks!
