iBook fails to boot :(

Last night, out of the blue my iBook froze, I resetted it and now it wont get past the blue loading bar when it boots. It's running 10.4.

I was planning to put in a OSX disc to run diagnostics on it, but now i've just realised that the drive is actually warped inwards. :(

These wont boot from a CD drive in a USB caddy will they?
