So I was bored yesterday and I was annoyed that the bottom of my iBook kept getting scratched up thanks to missing feet. So I had an idea to use some LEGO studs to see if they would work. So I found four of them and decided to try it out. Since I got a new battery, and it was a cheap Chinese one, there was less of a recession than the other 3 holes, so I took the top of the stud and shredded it on the metal ring of a broken hard drive. I put the freshly cut part of the stud and put in the hole for the old rubber foot. I hot glued it to the battery, and did the same for the other three studs in the other three holes. I'll be actively testing it today during school to see how the hot glue and studs hold up. Hopefully this can help someone out in the future.
