Thank you in advance for any direction you made be able to provide. I have a 2001 Ibook m6497 that my daughter is to take to school. When logging into youtube, sprint aircard broadband, the video plays the audio but the video is like a slideshow!
I have logged into apple to download updates, varified the hard drive and permissions. Any idea, is the processor too old,not powerful enough ?
Sorry if I am redundant with this question. Cheers, jack.

quit flashing that G3!

...is the processor too old,not powerful enough ?

yep, old and slow. fine for light browsing/email/chat/word, but not enough power to handle most of the current multimedia stuff like flash. adding more memory and/or faster hard drive will also not help as the g3 still won't have enough power to do the rendering. keep it for light use or as a backup... but i'd recommend just selling now while it's all working, and then buy something newer. best of luck.

Thank you..

Guess I will keep it at home and the fire station to do lesson plans. I promise to stop flashing my g3. jk, captjack
