Hey, I just got my new G3 iBook not thirty minutes ago, and I love it. Only problem is that it doesn't want to connect to my AirPort network. I have the last dome base station (whatever that is... it's the one offered right before the draft-n one), and have password protected my network with WPA2 Personal. The base station is set to b/g compatible, I know that I've been putting the password in correctly (it's forty characters long), it just refuses to connect. Any ideas? Also, once I do get it working, how easy is filesharing within the network? Like over Bonjour.

Thanks,
Skil

I don't think the original Airport card supports WPA2.

Can you just use the original WPA? There really isn't that much security advantage of WPA2 over WPA. Set the router to accept both WPA1 and WPA2 signals -- it's in the base station options.

As far as file sharing -- very easy.

Wow, crazy-fast reply. I'm flattered! So, I had it set to accepting both, but I tried it again on my iBook with just WPA Personal, and no dice. I'll try all combinations and settings and see what works. Thanks a bundle, mkrishnan!
