ibook G3 battery problems

I was testing my battery one day and it took like and hour ar two to get to 50% then all of a sudden it dropped to zero. its about 3 years old and i have applecrae so should i call them and ask them to replace the battery?

call apple care. they might have you reset a copule things here and there and see if that works. then if it doesnt im sure they will be kind and send you a new battery. i had a problem like that. . . my battery went from holding a 4 or so hour charge to a 30 min charage and they replaced it very quickly!
