iBook G3 Charger

Our dog managed to chew through my mums iBook G3 charger wire. Is there anyway to get a replacement? I tried my iBook G4 charger but it doesn't fit.

Any ideas?

Hmm...I have iBook G3 chargers and a Powerbook charger and they work on whatever I put them on. Try a search on eBay, you should be able to get one really cheap.

The clamshell's are iBook G3's right?

Oh...I should have asked. My iBook G3 is the dual usb white model, so I guess that's why they all work together. If you try to purchase an adapter just make sure it's the right type for your clamshell version. You don't want to buy an accessory that isn't compatable. Sniff around in the Marketplace...maybe someone here has one they can sell you.

Yes, but they use special chargers.

I have a clamshell and a white iBook. They are both G3s but use differently designed chargers.

For a clamshell, you need one of these
