iBook G3 DC Board Problems, help. o.o

On the moon.
So, I got the adapter from mlrproducts, and I tried inserting it and turning it on. No go.

Pulled out the DC board, it seems whenever I insert the adapter it sparks. O.O

Only does this when plugged into the logic board, when its unplugged, no spark and the light on the adapter cable goes orange.

So whats at fault? I'm seriously hoping its the DC board, as I am not having much luck finding a logic board. Anyone ever have this problem before?

If its the logic board, does Apple still repair the logic board for free? The guy I got it from said his video was screwy at points. o.o
