I've been having problems whit my ibook G3 (2003) sleep function. Every thing works fine while it doesn't get to sleep (by closing the lid, or screen saver, or battery discharge), the flash light works but when i open it or touch any key to wake-it up it just turns-off and the machine dies.
It won't turn on again using the power button. I need to wait some minutes, take the battery off, and try several times until it finally runs.

I had disabled all the screen savers but the problem It's being getting worse and worse.

I ran the hardware test with and without battery and it says there's nothing wrong.

The battery also works normally.

What's going on? is it a hardware or a software problem? is there any hope or it's just time to start saying bye to my ibook?

Thanks a lot for any help
