Well I had a couple of extra uses on my iWork '08 family pack, so I decided to test it on my old iBook. The computer certainly doesn't meet the recommended hardware requirements, but all in all it seems to be working fine.
I've been able to push it to do some of the more resource draining activities, such as presentations in Keynote '08, but I wouldn't describe it as more than mediocre; its not quick.
However for basic use of the software it seems fine. Has anyone else tried this or something similar? I thought it would make an interesting topic.
