iBook G4 1.2G 12" not recognizing RAM installed

I got a stick of 512 PC3200 and it's not recognizing it. Made sure it's in nice and firm but nothing I do is getting it to show. Any ideas how to fix this?

AFAIK, iBook G4 1.2ghz supports a DDR SODIMM PC2100 RAM

OP, did you test this stick in other computer? RAM slot is OK? Maybe this stick is shot or just incompatible (not speed-wise, some memory brands just don't work).
