Hi,

I just got my new IBOOK G4 1.42 everything is going well. The only problem I am getting is when I upgraded SKYPE and MSN it runs fine when installed but when I restart the mac it goes back to the OLD version. Any ideas? I have been converted to a MAC user as I was a PC user :). Hope someone can help.

Thanks

Andrew

You probably ran the programs from the disk image (.dmg) file without copying it to your applications folder.

Move the application from the disk image that opens up into the applications folder. You may have to replace the older version (by clicking replace when you drag the new version to the applications folder).

Its a common mistake for PC users, I did it for a couple days when I got my OS X machine. Hope you like your iBook.
