Hey guys,

So my IBook is finally running properly the way i want and with Leopard :D

So, my question is does this system support any type of 3G networking? I believe its actually called WWAN? I ask because sometimes im going to be taking this iBook to places where there is no wifi around. At first i thought a simple USB dongle from 02, vodafone, etc... and the relevant sim card with a data package would suffice but im unsure.

Any info is appreciated. :)

Incase you need this to base your reply from, below are the specs.

iBook G4
1.2GHz PowerPC G4 Processor
1.25GB RAM
Mac OS Leopard

A usb dongle is your best bet since there is no cardbus in the ibook.

Hmm, so will it be fine if i simply go and buy a 02 USB dongle, pop in the sim card and it should just work? I've been looking at a couple of USB Dongles and as far as i can tell thats how they function but i dont know how they would work with the Mac OS and whether or not i'd need to modify some kernel extensions or install software/etc...
