I have an iBook G4 and an Airport Extreme N. When I turn on the notebook, or after waking the notebook from sleep, the iBook can't find my home network. It asks if I want to join my neighbors network. I say no, and then use the drop-down in the title bar to choose my network. The drop-down sees the network, but it won't automatically connect.

Does anyone have any ideas how to correct this minor annoyance?

Thanks!

System Preferences > Network

Select Airport, then in the tab it has something that says "By default, join..." choose "Preferred networks" from the dropdown list and delete all networks except yours.
