Really, i have an iBook G4 14" 1GHz, and the battery has stopped charging.
I'm hoping that someone can give me a diagnosis

The computer runs fine off both Battery power and wall outlet power, but it just cant put them together and charge the battery.

i downloaded the app coconut battery, and it told me that the computer was running off ac power, that it was plugged in, but the battery was not charging.

i think it might be either a bad dc inboard or a bad wall power charger/adaptor
however, i dont want to order either before i have a solid diagnosis.

thanks,

i havent, but i think that the battery works fine, because when i unplug it it just runs normally, draining the battery and everything.

Fixed!!!!!!!

I finally diagnosed it!

i dont know why i didnt see it before, but my power cord was only a 45W!!

since my computers a 14", apple reccomends a 65W power adaptor.

FML

the good news: its not a logic board problem, which costs $300 to replace
the bad news: now i dont get to take apart my computer! awwwww, darn!
