ibook g4 connect to tv

i have an i book g4 and a hdtv,i have connected it thru a vga cable and it works fine but i want to know how i can make it so the screen continues from one to the other rather than just being a copy

Don't use clamshell mode...AND read it before you install.

Risk is in everything we do on earth...
Certain ibooks can't hack it so make sure yours can and read before you install...I'm using it now.

cheers its working now i got a 14 inch ibook with a 26 inch tv
do i need to keep that thing incase i want to remove it?
